Japanese Skewers: the easy, tasty and nutritious food.


When I went to work in Japan. With a model profession that I have to control my diet, it could be be very difficult when working abroad especially in Japan where there are many delicious foods in every corner such as sushi, tonkotsu, ramen, and udon as well as many delicious desserts. But today there is a menu of Japanese food that is easy to find, delicious, and meets the control of my body’s diet.


Skewer menu in Japan is considered an easy-to-make, low-calorie, delicious dish without any processing. Most of the simple menus that are used for grilling are fishes such as salmon, and also a variety of meat namely: pork, horse, seafood and different kinds of vegetables.



Different barbecue from around the world.


Skewers are a popular menu around the world that we may be familiar with as barbecue. In Thailand, there are grilled pork with fresh milk and satay chicken, which are delicious and easy to eat as a favorite food of many, so to speak. I believe that readers here have already eaten various barbecue styles. The Thai grilled pork with fresh milk is soft, fat, fragrant and has a sweet taste, which may not be suitable for people who want to control sugar because of the sweetness of grilled fresh milk that is present in every inch of the pork. As for the satay chicken, it may be more suitable for health lovers as long as eat them without dipping the sauce or eating bread.


Kushiyaki can be considered a Japanese skewer barbecue that is healthier than other countries' barbecue, because it has the least amount of processing and flavoring served in full nutrition. Japanese food is a salty food, but the saltiness does not come from the likes to eat salty, but the food preservation method.

When I choose to eat, I focus on complete nutrition, because if I eat something lacking, my body will show immediate warning whether it is the peeling of nail cuticle or an easy hair fall. Since I don’t take any supplements, I have to focus on eating every meal nutritiously.


For me, I focus on eating meat, protein, good fat, most from chicken and salmon belly. Sometimes I eat grilled pork because it is delicious and makes me full. But I must not eat too much. I choose to eat fat from meat as it is delicious and making me full. In addition, I also choose to eat unlimited vegetables. I eat them whenever I am hungry and I stop when I am full. Just that.


If we can understand the overall, we will begin to see what we ate today. What kind of nutrients are there? We don't need to focus on counting calories, but we remember and estimate the amount. In the beginning, we may practice by setting a goal to eat protein, good fats, carbohydrates, vegetables and water per day. But once we get used to it, weights and measures may not be needed anymore.



Aren’t salty foods harm your kidneys?


In fact, eating all kinds of food has a negative effect if we eat too much or too little. Salt, in addition to making the food tasty, reduces the fishy smell and helps preserving food for a long time, it also has iodine and sodium that are good for the body. Besides, salt also has a cooling effect and contains minerals to help control the body balance and reduce cramps. However, according to medical advice, we should not consume too much salt. We should consume just enough and proper amount.


Try to adjust some easy menus for yourself at home.


Honestly speaking, this menu can be made at home because it's easier to make than omelet. When I came back from work in Japan, on a busy day I didn't have much time so I skip putting meat on the skewer sticks. I would sprinkle little salt on the fish fillets and grill on the pan without oil Once it cooked, you can eat it right away deliciously with steamed rice or salad. I can also be confident that the food is not contaminated with harmful effects on the body. Because I chose to buy organic meats that don't use antibiotics and I can also control salinity. In addition to this menu, there are many other menus that are not difficult and can be made by yourself by just changing the fish to something else. Because this menu only needs meat or vegetables and salt.
